Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz (42 g) dried valerian root

  • 12 oz (355 mL) vodka

Preparation

  1. Add 1.5 oz (42 g) of dried valerian root to a 12 oz (355 mL) jar.

  2. Cover the root completely with vodka.

  3. Seal the jar tightly and shake well.

  4. Steep for 4–6 weeks in a dark place, shaking occasionally.

  5. Strain and store in a dropper bottle.
