Ingredients
1 cup water
1 cup milk (any kind: dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
1 tablespoon loose-leaf chai tea
1-2 teaspoons honey or sugar (to taste)
A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg (optional garnish)
Preparation
In a small saucepan, heat water and milk until they begin to simmer.
Add the loose-leaf chai tea and simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes.
Strain the tea into a cup and stir in honey or sugar to taste.
Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg on top for an aromatic garnish.
